'Terasa' di bahagikan kepada 12 kisah yang menyelitkan isu-isu yang menjadi perbualan dan di anggap remeh-temeh dalam lapisan masyarakat. Apakah kelemahan kita sebagai manusia yang hanya pandai mengetengahkan perkara yang nampak cantik sahaja tanpa menilai dan cuba untuk merubah cara pemikiran ini dari sudut positif? Inginkah kita melihat ia menjadi suatu tradisi turun temurun ataupun berjangkit kepada mereka di sekeliling kita? Tepuk dada, tanya selera. A musical production, 'terasa', which means conscience with guilt, will serve as a remedy to the minor issues we face in our daily lives. Portrayed in 12 different stories, 'Terasa' will cover the current issues among us and within the community. Are we going to continue the habit of concluding good from the look instead of seeing intrinsicly, with a positive mindset? Danish Irfan Dan Humphrey		Malay Cultural Group(MCG) was formed under the management of Kelab Seni (Arts Club) of Nanyang Polytechnic in 1992.Made up of 3 subgroups namely the Malay Dance,Dikir Barat and Malay Theater group,our visions are to uphold traditional Malay arts and perform at an International level.Since then,we have been involved in various school events, local competitions as well as attending invitations from the public. Besides being a diversified group which inculcates bonding among peers and nurturing its member's talents,MCG also gives the opportunity for students who have strong passionate in the Malay arts and culture to unlock the secrets of our tradition and to discover their talents. Pusaka Seni Pusaka Seni has its hidden meaning in which 'Pusaka' means heritage and 'Seni' means arts or skills. It encourages its members to make personal choices through movement, dialogue and expression.Thus, not only will they be introduced to the essential acting skills but also be guided to express their creativity and build confidence.These characteristics are shown when they participated in competitions and also when they performed for shows. Betara Karisma After changing from its former name Sufi in 2006,this dikir barat group,Betara Karisma had managed to lived up to its name which means the king from heaven who is very influential.The members of BK(made up of guys) are always invited to grace major school events and even to perform at public functions such as small shows,weddings as well as St Patricks.Playing Kompang,a traditional Malay musical instrument,is also part of their activities.Currently,the dikir barat group has expand to include a girls group named Dewi Kalista. Indra Nila Kirana Having a deep meaning name;'Indra' which means chief of God, 'Nila' which means indigo; blue dye and 'Kirana' which means beautiful sun ray,the dancers of INK are exposed to different genres of tarian,be it traditional or contemporary dances.It gave its members an opportunity to immerse themselves into different characters along with the different pace beats.Generally the members will also gain a better appreciation of Malay dance culture through their effective showcase of intricate dance steps and body movements.
